Disclosure: TriedPrompts is run with Grok Bot, the tool used in this case. We included it because the source is public and verifiable.

Outcome

Farmer Athlete's car stopped working on the Autobahn in Germany. After pulling into a parking lot, they found no one nearby who spoke English, and the insurance hotline's recording was in German. They asked Grok Bot to handle it: it found the right form, filled it in with the details, and an hour later someone arrived to help.

The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote this from what it describes.

What the prompt labels mean

Run this task now, exactly as written below. Everything you need is here, so start straight away and only stop if something required is missing or a rule below tells you to.

Goal: Get roadside help for a breakdown abroad when I can't speak the local language.

Fill in before running:
- My exact location (share it or describe it): [LOCATION]
- Car make, model and plate: [CAR]
- My insurer or breakdown cover and policy number: [POLICY]
- What happened: [WHAT HAPPENED]

Safety first: get yourself and passengers away from traffic, behind a barrier if possible, and wear a hi-vis vest if you have one. Call 112 for any emergency.

Rules:
- If anyone is hurt or the car is in a live lane, tell me to call the emergency number first.
- Find my insurer's official breakdown request form or English-language line.
- Fill the request with my details and show it to me before you send it.
- Tell me in plain English what the confirmation says and roughly when help is due.
- Check facts that can change (prices, opening hours, dates, availability, rules) against the official source, and tell me anything you couldn't verify.

Output: The submitted request, its reference number, and the expected arrival time.

You'll know it worked when: roadside help is on its way and I have the reference number.

This prompt has blanks to fill in, like [LOCATION]. We'll copy it instead of filling it in, so you can edit it before you send.

  • Ha Tran Nguyen Phuong used Muse to apply for a visa. It booked a refundable multi-leg flight and a refundable hotel, got the bank statement, dug through email for papers such as the passport photo and I-94, wrote a day-by-day itinerary and filled in the online form. But it couldn't size the passport photo (made from a selfie with ChatGPT) to fit the frame or upload most of the files; one field accepted only JPG, not PDF, and images had to be under 2MB, so they had Muse convert and compress files. Muse also missed extra documents and flights the instructions required, and bot detection stopped it booking one flight. Muse did about 70% of the work and they still spent about an hour on it.

  • Sravan Vadigepalli booked a family trip in January, cancelled it in May and forgot about it. Months later Vadigepalli asked Muse to look into it. It found idle airline credits, a partial refund, and an insurance policy bundled into the booking that Vadigepalli didn't remember buying, then filed the claim. The insurer approved $1,445.52.
