Edit a podcast video and build its clips, thumbnail and article with ChatGPT
Copy the prompt below and paste it into the AI tool named on this page.
Prompt Original prompt
Exact prompt as published in the source.
The recording is in this file. Edit the video, create a thumbnail for YouTube, write the REM article, create clips for Instagram Reels and build the rest of the content I normally produce.

Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about the details below and wait for my answers. Once I've answered, confirm the plan in one line and run the whole task start to finish. Goal: Turn a raw podcast recording into a finished, on-brand content package I can review before publishing. Questions to ask me first: - Where is the recording, and how long is it? - Which pieces do you need (edited video, clips, thumbnail, article, email, social posts)? - Is there anything that must be cut, like a false start or private conversation? Inputs (fill in or confirm): - Raw recording file: [RECORDING] - Examples of past episodes, articles and branding: [EXAMPLES] - Parts to cut, with timestamps: [CUTS] - Show name, hosts and guests: [SHOW DETAILS] Rules: - Match the style and branding of my examples; don't invent a new look or opinions. - Keep the conversation itself intact; only trim what I listed and dead air at the start and end. - Don't add facts or claims that weren't said in the episode. - Deliver everything for my review; publish nothing. Checkpoint: Show me the edit plan and clip choices before producing the final files. If you get stuck: If a file is too long or a step fails, tell me which piece and what you need from me. Verify before you finish: Make a list of every caption, claim, name and visual I should check before publishing. Output: An edited video, short clips, a thumbnail, an article draft, social posts and a review checklist. Done when: Everything is ready in one place, and I only need to review and approve it.

Outcome
Right after recording an episode of The REM Advantage with co-host Taylor Hack, Andrew Fogliato gave ChatGPT the raw Zoom recording with one request: edit the video, make a YouTube thumbnail, write the article, create Instagram Reels clips and build the rest of the usual content. Fogliato also supplied examples of past episodes, articles and branding. About 25 minutes later ChatGPT had edited the video into a branded broadcast layout, removed the opening false start and a private section, and produced clips, a thumbnail and the full content package. One of the assets was a list of things a human should check, and the captions, article, visuals and facts still needed review before publishing. Fogliato had to buy additional usage credits after it burned through the included limit.

Context: Fogliato publishes Real Estate Magazine (REM). The finished assets still needed a human review before publishing, and extra usage credits were needed.

Write and publish a short podcast episode with Claude Code (needed edits)
Claude Code wrote a short podcast script that the poster voiced with ElevenLabs and published via Anchor; the narration was clear but the script missed nuance and needed manual tweaks, so the poster rated it useful for drafts only.

Preview flower arrangement options before cutting a stem with ChatGPT Images
Florist Ashley Greer of Atelier Ashley Flowers tested ChatGPT Images 2.0 with the flowers for a favorite client's arrangements. The first prompt returned three designs in brass footed vases after a little over a minute. Greer then showed it the vases and bases already in use, asked for three versions of each (round and tight, round and bouncy/wild, wild and asymmetrical), and told it to remove the dahlias and phalaenopsis orchids Greer had decided against. Greer called the images 'polished provocations, several possible outcomes made visible before I cut a single stem'. Asked to identify the flowers without a materials list, it did 'a fairly decent job', given some obscure varieties.

Eric V., a high school English teacher in New York City, gives Gemini the key points of a message and gets three tailored versions: one for parents, one for students and one for Google Classroom. Eric V. says that saves around 80% of the usual time on emails, and closer to 20% on unit and lesson planning, where the request might name the book and ask for three lessons on historical context plus a field trip idea. Gemini also helps make assignments clearer and more concise for the 11th graders.

Alexander Machulin's spouse edited a full talking-head reel with Claude. From 10 minutes of raw footage, Claude cut the video in CapCut, added subtitles and picked photos from the spouse's gallery, and nothing had to be fixed by hand. Machulin only helped with the setup: Whisper had started downloading to the laptop, and the regular chat had been opened instead of Claude Code. Machulin says the video came out good.
