Outcome
Alexander Machulin's spouse edited a full talking-head reel with Claude. From 10 minutes of raw footage, Claude cut the video in CapCut, added subtitles and picked photos from the spouse's gallery, and nothing had to be fixed by hand. Machulin only helped with the setup: Whisper had started downloading to the laptop, and the regular chat had been opened instead of Claude Code. Machulin says the video came out good.

Prompt Recreated prompt
The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote this from what it describes.
Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about anything important that's missing below. Keep them quick. Then do the task, checking in with me at the key points. Goal: Turn my raw talking-head footage into a short reel with subtitles, edited in my video editor. What I can give you (ask for whatever's missing): - The raw footage file and roughly how long the reel should be: [FOOTAGE AND LENGTH] - The editor you can control (e.g. CapCut) and where my photos are: [EDITOR AND PHOTOS] - The main points the reel must keep: [KEY POINTS] Rules: - Transcribe the footage first and show me the cut list (what stays, what goes) before editing. - Cut pauses, retakes and filler, but keep my words and meaning; don't reorder points without asking. - Add subtitles that match what I say exactly, and only use photos from the folder I give you. - Tell me before installing or downloading any tool, and why it's needed. - Check facts that can change (prices, opening hours, dates, availability, rules) against the official source, and tell me anything you couldn't verify. Output: The edited reel in my editor's project, ready to export, plus the cut list. You'll know it worked when: the reel plays cleanly, the subtitles match, and I didn't have to fix anything by hand.

3 blanks are still empty: The raw footage file and roughly how long the reel should be; The editor you can control (e.g. CapCut) and where my photos are; The main points the reel must keep. They'll stay in brackets in your prompt, so the chat tool may ask you about them.
What you type stays in this browser tab. We don't send it or save it, and it's gone when you leave the page. If you use a "Try this in" button, your answers go to that tool as part of the prompt.
