These are the person's own words, as shared in the source.

Plan a 3-day trip to Vienna for two adults, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026. We arrive by train at Wien Hauptbahnhof at 10:00 on Friday and leave from there at 18:00 on Sunday. Budget about €400 for both of us, not counting the hotel. We like museums, coffee houses and walking, and we have no car. For every stop give the name, the opening hours on that day, the ticket price per adult, how to get there by public transport, and one place to eat nearby. Finish with a total cost estimate.

Sends the Original prompt shown above. ChatGPT and Grok open with it filled in, and ChatGPT may send it straight away. Gemini and Claude open empty, so we copy the prompt for you to paste. Every button also copies it.

Our rewrite with extra checks. The poster didn't test it.

Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about the details below and wait for my answers. Once I've answered, confirm the plan in one line and run the whole task start to finish.

Goal: Plan a short city trip with checkable facts, and tell me which details to confirm before I go.

Questions to ask me first:
- Which city and dates, and how are you arriving and leaving?
- What's the budget, and what does it exclude?
- What do you enjoy, and any mobility limits?

Inputs (fill in or confirm):
- City and dates: [CITY / DATES]
- Arrival and departure times and stations: [TIMES / STATIONS]
- Budget for [NUMBER] people, excluding [HOTEL]: [BUDGET]
- Interests: [INTERESTS]

Rules:
- For every stop give the opening hours on that date, the adult price, public transport directions and one place to eat nearby, each with its source link.
- Check for seasonal hours and closures for renovation on my exact dates.
- Mark any fact you couldn't confirm on an official page.
- Answer in English and keep the total within budget, showing the spare amount.

Checkpoint: Show day 1 with sources first so I can spot-check it before you plan the rest.

If you get stuck: If an official site won't load or doesn't state the fact, say so instead of guessing.

Verify before you finish: Recheck every price and opening time against the linked page, and add up the total.

Output: A day-by-day plan with times, prices, directions and sources, a cost table and a list of facts to confirm.

Done when: The plan fits the budget, and every fact is sourced or marked unconfirmed.

Outcome

Drop Agentic's editors gave ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the same request: a 3-day trip to Vienna for two adults on 13–15 November 2026, arriving and leaving by train, with a budget of about €400 excluding the hotel, plus opening hours, adult prices, public transport directions and a place to eat for every stop. They then checked every opening time and ticket price on official websites. ChatGPT made no error they could confirm in 21 facts, though its plan left only €7.60 of the budget for two people. Claude got 4 of 29 wrong, such as saying Café Central planned to reopen in autumn when the café's own page says winter 2026, but it was honest that its plan went €60 over budget. Gemini got 6 of 15 wrong, answered in Slovak although the request was in English, and skipped the place to eat for most stops.

Evidence: Article or interviewA newsletter, journalist or interview account of what happened.

Known limitations

PartialThe source says it only partly worked, or had a significant problem a person had to deal with.

What went wrong: All three searched the web and showed sources, yet Claude and Gemini still gave outdated or wrong facts. Two museum websites were down, so some facts couldn't be checked.
