Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about the details below and wait for my answers. Once I've answered, confirm the plan in one line and run the whole task start to finish. Goal: Build a short solo island itinerary that works with real flight times, drive times and who each place is for. Questions to ask me first: - Which flight are you arriving on, and at what time? - Do you have a dive certification, and how much driving are you willing to do? - Do you want adults-only or quiet resorts, or are family resorts fine? Inputs (fill in or confirm): - Arrival and departure flights: [FLIGHTS / TIMES] - Trip length and month: [NIGHTS / MONTH] - Must-do experiences: [ADVENTURE / WELLNESS / FOOD] - Certifications and limits: [DIVE CERT / DRIVING LIMIT] - Budget per night: [BUDGET] Rules: - Start day one from my real arrival time. - Give the drive or boat time from where I'm staying to every activity and restaurant. - Check that restaurants and facilities are open to non-guests before suggesting them. - Say whether each resort is family, couples or adults-only, and suit it to a solo traveler. - Note any activity that needs a certification, booking or minimum group size. Checkpoint: Show me where I'm staying each night and the travel times before filling in activities. If you get stuck: If you can't confirm a detail like opening to non-guests, mark it 'check' instead of assuming. Verify before you finish: Recheck that no day has more driving than my limit and that every booking need is listed. Output: A day-by-day table with times, travel time, booking notes and a 'check' column. Done when: I have an itinerary a local travel agent could book without major fixes.

Outcome
Monika Barton of Rova asked ChatGPT for a four-night solo itinerary in Fiji with an adventure, a wellness activity, local food, one or two nights on Viti Levu and one or two nights at a small island resort, then had a human travel agent check it. The agent found it riddled with errors. ChatGPT had Barton arriving in the morning, though flights from New Zealand to Nadi land around midday or late afternoon. It picked the Tanoa International Hotel, which is inland with no access to the Denarau Beach it suggested for that afternoon, and recommended a restaurant about an hour's drive away that only resort guests can use. Its shark dive at Pacific Harbour was a three-hour drive and required a qualified diver, and both island resorts it offered were family resorts. ChatGPT and the agent did agree on a spa treatment.

Known limitations
PartialThe source says it only partly worked, or had a significant problem a person had to deal with.
What went wrong: A travel agent found many errors, from arrival times and hotel location to guests-only dining and family resorts; only the spa idea matched.
