Cut transcript-to-article time from 3.5 hours to 63 minutes with Claude Cowork

WorkedEvidence: Described by posterPosted Last checked

Lusher Advisory's Claude Cowork webinar-to-Substack run fell from 3 to 3.5 hours to about 63 minutes with ChatGPT QA and human edits.

How to use this

  1. Tap Copy prompt.
  2. Open the tool the case used (or a similar one) and paste the prompt; results may differ from the original.
  3. Paste it into the message box.
  4. Send it, then read the answer before acting on it.
New to this? What's a prompt?

A prompt is the message you send to the AI tool. Copy the one on this page, put your own details where it asks, and read the answer before you act on it.

Recreated prompt

The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote one from what it describes. The result shown is the source's, not ours.

What the prompt labels mean

The person didn't share their exact words, so we wrote this from what they described. We haven't tested it, and they didn't use this exact version.

Turn this webinar transcript and chat log into a Substack article in my format: clean synthesis, section headers, paywall break and boilerplate. Do not invent quotes. Leave interpretation notes for me. I will run a second-model QA pass and then edit.

Try this in:

Sends the Recreated prompt shown above. ChatGPT and Grok open with it filled in, and ChatGPT may send it straight away. Gemini and Claude open empty, so we copy the prompt for you to paste. Every button also copies it.

Opens in a new tab. We don't see what you send.

Optional stronger version

Our rewrite with extra checks. The poster didn't test it.

Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about the details below and wait for my answers. Once I've answered, confirm the plan in one line and run the whole task start to finish.

Goal: Convert a webinar transcript and chat log into a draft article ready for my edit.

Questions to ask me first:
- Where are the VTT/transcript and chat export?
- What article format and boilerplate do I require?
- Which themes must stay even if the model downplays them?

Inputs (fill in or confirm):
- Transcript: [FILE]
- Chat log: [FILE]
- Format template: [FILE]
- Boilerplate: [CTA / COPYRIGHT]

Rules:
- No invented quotes.
- Separate synthesis from my interpretation notes.
- Apply my section structure and paywall break.
- Do not publish.

Checkpoint: Show proposed themes before drafting the full piece.

If you get stuck: If audio quality gaps create unclear lines, mark [INAUDIBLE] instead of guessing.

Verify before you finish: Quotes that appear can be found in the transcript.

Output: Draft article, theme list, and open interpretation questions.

Done when: I can finish human edits inside roughly an hour including QA.

Outcome

Lusher Advisory tested whether Claude Cowork could turn a webinar transcript and chat log into a publishable Substack article. On a recent production run, work that historically took 3 to 3.5 hours took about 63 minutes end-to-end including QA, formatting, publishing and promo prep. The repeatable path uses a prompt template, five-phase checklist, AI first draft, ChatGPT QA on Cowork's output, then human editorial review for interpretation. Clerical reconstruction is removed; strategic framing stays human.

Evidence: Described by posterThe person describes what happened in words, without screenshots or video.
