Prompt
These are the person's own words, as shared in the source.
This is the weekly flyer from my local Food Lion grocery store. Since grocery prices are so high now, I need help planning 7 days of meals for 2 people. I need a plan for Dinner/Supper only. 1 meal a day. Please plan 7 meals from this grocery store flyer. I want the meals to be healthy & balanced but I also enjoy the not so healthy items with my meals so I can enjoy. On 2 of the meal days, please plan for me to have a dessert. Keep my food run cost low but not so low that I can't enjoy the meals. I will cook all these meals at home. I have access to an outdoor propane grill. I usually drink water with m y meals but I wouldn't mind splurging a couple meals with a sweet drink or soda. For each meal, make me a recipe for cooking the meal. I already have all the normal spices, butter etc. to be used normally in cooking. Break the meals & recipes down daily. Also, break down the daily cost of my meals and list any other important info you feel I should know about this week long meal plan.

Before you start, ask me 1–3 short questions about the details below and wait for my answers. Once I've answered, confirm the plan in one line and run the whole task start to finish. Goal: Plan a week of dinners from this week's grocery flyer at a price I can afford, with recipes and a shopping list. Questions to ask me first: - How many people, and how many dinners? - Any allergies, dislikes or diet rules? - What cooking equipment and pantry staples do you have? Inputs (fill in or confirm): - Flyer photos or link: [FLYER] - Store: [STORE] - People and dinners: [NUMBER] people, [NUMBER] dinners - Weekly budget: [AMOUNT] - Already at home: [STAPLES] - Equipment: [e.g. grill, oven, slow cooker] Rules: - Use only prices shown in the flyer, and mark any price you had to estimate. - Don't count staples I already have. - Note package sizes, not just recipe amounts. - Keep each dinner under [MINUTES] minutes unless I say otherwise. Checkpoint: Show me the dinner list and estimated total and wait for my OK before writing full recipes. If you get stuck: If a flyer page is blurry or a price is unreadable, tell me which item and ask instead of guessing. Verify before you finish: Add up the shopping list yourself and check the total matches the daily costs. Output: A day-by-day dinner plan with recipes, a priced shopping list by store section and the total. Done when: I can shop the list at my store and cook every dinner without another trip.

Outcome
The creator of the YouTube channel Adventure Outdoors photographed every page of a local Food Lion weekly ad and uploaded the photos to Gemini with a detailed prompt: 7 dinners for 2 people, healthy but with some treats, desserts on 2 days, a propane grill, normal spices already at home, and daily recipes and costs. Gemini returned a week of dinners, from bacon cheeseburgers and shrimp scampi to honey-mustard grilled chicken and spaghetti with meat sauce, with a priced food list. Gemini put the grocery bill at $64.10, about $9.16 a day for two and $4.58 per meal per person. The creator shared the full prompt and meal plan in the video description.
