Find a vet hospital with an endoscope for a dog that swallowed a needle with Gemini

Hybanth Reddy Ch's dog, Tillu, swallowed a sewing needle. The vet hospital the family went to recommended open surgery because none of its branches had endoscopy equipment, and online searches kept turning up clinics without it. About 20 minutes before the operation, Reddy typed a simple prompt into Gemini, written out of sheer disbelief: 'there is no endoscopy for dogs in Hyderabad.' Gemini's top result was a hospital in Jubilee Hills. A phone call confirmed it could do the procedure that day, the needle was removed by endoscopy within an hour, and Tillu went home the same day.

Find out a sick pet puffer fish didn't have ich from microscope photos with Gemini

Amy Abel's pet dog-faced puffer fish, Snoop, was covered in white spots. A couple of aquarium shops said it was ich, but the usual treatment of raising the tank to 83–85 degrees only made Snoop worse. Abel ordered a microscope, took a sample and uploaded the photos and videos to Gemini. It first said to consult a professional, so Abel told it to just analyze the picture anyway. Gemini said it wasn't ich and pointed to Uronema and Epistylis, which thrive in warm water, so raising the temperature makes them worse. After finding more videos confirming it, Abel slowly lowered the temperature, did a 90% water change and started antibiotics; within two days Snoop was 'a completely different fish.'

Spot when an escaped indoor cat comes back to the door from days of camera footage with Gemini

Zachary Thorman's skittish indoor cat, Puff, had slipped out 72 hours earlier without anyone noticing, with nights around 30°F. Thorman had Gemini go through days of Nest camera history. It found a pattern: Puff was coming back to check the door during quiet hours, around 7 AM and after 10 PM. Gemini suggested waiting rather than searching, laying a tuna-broth scent trail and leaving the door cracked; about an hour into waiting, Puff ran inside. Thorman then used Gemini to find local vet availability and book a check-up.

Check which candle waxes are safe around dogs before buying with Gemini

A shopper asked Gemini which candle waxes are non-toxic for dogs before buying, and says the answer changed their purchasing decision in seconds.

Pick a breed, name, shopping list and care plan for a first family puppy with Gemini

Planning a first dog with their son, Allison Marx used mostly Gemini to recommend breeds that suited their lifestyle and requirements (they chose a Havanese), come up with a name (Chip), build a shopping list and draft a care plan. Two weeks after bringing Chip home, Marx says the family couldn't be happier.
